The Coolest Minifigures From Lego's Daily Bugle Set

One of the tallest Lego sets also has 25 amazing minifigures, including some never-before-seen ones. Here are our favorites.

by Billy Brown

At over 3 feet tall, Lego’s Spider-Man Daily Bugle build is loaded with details and Easter eggs for both the Lego and Marvel fan. But what may be the most impressive aspect is the 25 minifigures included in the set, including a few new heroes. The following heroes alone make this a must-have set for collectors.

The Punisher

Appearing in Lego form for the first time, Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, shows up in full glory with his iconic skull costume. Already a collector’s item, this minifig is currently valued at $22.

Daredevil

Daredevil is another first for Lego with his iconic red suit and billy clubs. If you’re looking to make back some of the money you spent on this set, this guy’s going for $50 on eBay.

Firestar

Straight from the ‘80s Spider-Man cartoon to this Lego build, Firestar makes her first appearance as a minifigure. The orange flames simulate flight when combined with the included long clear piece.

Blade

Blade fans will be excited to see the vampire hunter finally make his way into a Lego set. Another highly-sought figure, Blade is currently going for $40 on eBay.

Black Cat

The antihero cat burglar Black Cat is another first for a Lego build. Spider-Man’s on-and-off-again crush comes with her whip and a diamond that we assume she didn’t acquire legally.

Sandman

One of the more unique builds we’ve seen, this version of Lego’s Sandman comes with a base of sand and debris that has him towering over the other minifigures in this set.

Carnage

The Carnage symbiote comes with excellent detailing around the torso and legs, highlighting the villain’s crimson and black motif. In addition, the tendril backpack adds a layer of horror and additional scale.

Miles Morales

Fans of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse will be excited to find Miles Morales in this set, complete with the black and red hoodie costume.

Spider-Ham

In a fun nod to the weirder side of the Spider-Man universe, Peter Porker, aka Spider-Ham, shows up in this build. The shorter legs, detailed snout, and ears make this guy a fun addition.

Venom

Venom is a regular in Lego sets, but the simple black and white costume and fangs make him a welcome dose of villainy to any build.

Green Goblin

Green Goblin is another regular in the Lego world, but in this build he stands out because the set has him literally bursting out of the building. Note the flaming debris in the background.

Doctor Octopus

Yup, you’ve seen him before in Lego builds, but you can’t deny the greatness of Doctor Octopus’ fully articulating arms in this version.
