Apparently This Is The Most Popular Time To Have Sex
Go ahead, make your day.
Research shows you really only need to have sex once a week to maintain a happy relationship. And while you might have to schedule that hump day now that you’re a parent, turns out the best day is actually not Wednesday. Fortunately, a recent survey narrows down not only the best days, but also the best times to get it on. The suspense is killing you.
The survey asked 2,000 long-term couples about when they were most active in the old boudoir. While it didn’t disclose how many of these couples had kids, the findings would suggest quite a few. That’s because a majority of them got busy at 9 a.m. on Sundays, give or take an hour. The worst time for sex was Tuesdays at 9 p.m. and, of course, 5:30 p.m. was also a bad time because come on. Either way, consider Valentine’s day canceled. Or, at least, rescheduled.
Conveniently, the top 10 times all fell over the weekend with honorable mentions going to Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 10:30 p.m, 11:30 p.m., and Fridays at 10:30 p.m., you dog you. Although, seriously, how are you even awake at 10:30 on a Friday night? While the results are reasonable, one huge caveat is that study was commissioned by the UK store Superdrug as a part of its new launch of lubricants. So buying into the findings could be a slippery slope.
